Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts

The Greater Houston Community Foundation is hosting the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund that will accept tax deductible flood relief donations for victims that have been affected by the recent floods. The Foundation will work with nonprofits throughout the area to distribute funds as needed.

Hurricane Harvey has also hit Louisiana’s Gulf Coast. The Community Foundation of Southwest Louisiana has opened a disaster relief fund that will work with the nonprofits that are on the front lines. Lake Charles Area Relief Fund

American Red Cross

The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization that provides emergency assistance and disaster relief in times of crisis, and is seeking donations to help victims of Harvey. Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services

Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services is the disaster relief arm of the Protestant charitable organization, and it is taking donations to help victims of Harvey. Donors can call 1-800-SAL-ARMY to help or click here for more information: Salvation Army

Coastal Bend Community Foundation

The Coastal Bend Community Foundation is accepting donations for the Coastal Bend Disaster Recovery Group which provides short- and long-term recovery needs for those affected by Hurricane Harvey. For more information: Coastal Bend Community Foundation

Feeding Texas

The state network of food banks is accepting donations.

Texas Diaper Bank

The organization is sending out relief kits for babies, young kids, the elderly and disabled. You can donate here.
