Nicole Carpenter

Director of Donor Stewardship

Nicole is Director of Donor Stewardship. Prior to joining the Community Foundation, Nicole served as a Consultant at Clarus Consulting Group where she led client engagements with a focus on organizational assessment, strategic planning, program evaluation, and change management. Nicole’s diverse professional experiences have provided her with a window into corporate, governmental, non-profit, and higher education workplaces. She has worked in development and communications at the University of Oxford and UAB, policy advocacy and regulatory affairs in Washington, D.C., and non-profit programming and strategy in Birmingham.
Nicole holds a MSc in Organizational and Social Psychology from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA in History of Art from Vanderbilt University.

Nicole is a member of the Rotaract Club of Birmingham and a founding member of the World Economic Forum’s City of Birmingham Global Shapers Hub. In her spare time, Nicole enjoys hiking and traveling with her husband, Josh, and spending time with their precocious puppy, Truman.
