You can catch up with Karen Rolen in Nashville, where her family is moving. You can find Marguerite at the end of the hall on the seventh floor of the Landmark Center, where she is learning more about all our efforts to drive positive change, especially with grantmaking and community leadership initiatives.
Karen has been part of many exciting efforts supported by the Community Foundation, including Yes We Can! Birmingham and Birmingham Education Foundation, the Alabama School Readiness Alliance and our first Community Catalyst Fund investment, Prize2theFuture. She will be working with Marguerite through the end of June.
Marguerite will continue our work to drive positive change, as we work to create new opportunities for all the people of the Birmingham region to lead healthy lives, live in vibrant communities, gain economic security and achieve educational success. “Marguerite’s experience locally and nationally will add to our efforts to achieve and measure the results our community wants for itself,” said Kate Nielsen, president of the Community Foundation.
