The Community Foundation is currently seeking candidates for the following position:
Mental Health Initiative Director
Position: Part-time (.5 FTE); evaluate at one year for possible transition to full-time
Reports To: Vice President, Programs
This position is primarily responsible for working with the Community Foundation of
Greater Birmingham (CFGB) team and community partners to advance mental health initiatives. The focus is on a multi-faceted approach that encompasses improvement in policies, systems, programs, and organizational capacity to effectively address mental health needs in CFGB’s five-county region (and statewide, where it significantly impacts the region). This work will be integrated into and advance CFGB’s current five strategic priorities (Thriving Communities, Overcoming Persistent Poverty, Regional Cooperation, Equity and Inclusion, and Economic Opportunity for All) and vision (a just, prosperous, and unified region where every person is empowered to reach their full potential).
